About Me
With 29 years of expertise in graphic design across print and web mediums, I've now focused my passion on becoming a full-time instructional designer. As an educator and Design Program Director for over 9 years, I've imparted knowledge at esteemed institutions such as Sanford-Brown College, State College of Florida, St. Petersburg College, The Illinois Institute of Art, DeVry University, Westwood College, and Elgin Community College. In these roles, I've taught courses in Graphic Arts and Web Design, honing my skills as both a practitioner and educator.
Combining my extensive experience as a graphic designer and classroom instructor with a Master’s in Education, I've evolved into a strong instructional designer. In graphic design, I specialized in crafting captivating catalog layouts, page designs, brochures, flyers, book designs, logos, and brand identities. Proficient in prepress production and skilled in executing variable data with mail merges, I brought a comprehensive understanding of print processes to every project.
My proficiency extends to web design layouts, enabling seamless integration across digital platforms. Now, I channel my expertise into creating engaging and impactful e-learning designs, leveraging my background in both graphic and instructional design to deliver effective educational experiences.
